A high PnL figure does not tell you whether a strategy is repeatable or suitable for copying. It may reflect one large position, substantial deposits, high leverage or a period of risk that the headline return does not show. MirrorTrade filters for meaningful account value, profit and history before a wallet can enter the public shortlist. Its Alpha Score then combines nine signals, with the largest weight assigned to maximum observed drawdown.
The score is a way to organize evidence, not a prediction. Review open positions, concentration, drawdown, leverage and the length of the record yourself. A market maker or very fast trader can be profitable while still being difficult to copy because a follower may not reproduce the same entry, exit or fill quality. The selection methodology publishes every score weight, evidence floor and known limitation, and the ranked list of qualified Hyperliquid traders shows who currently clears it.
Full-book mode attempts to bring the follower toward the trader's current portfolio. It can create exposure immediately, including positions the leader opened earlier at a different price. This can be useful when the existing book is essential to the strategy, but the follower should inspect every current position before proceeding.
Forward-only mode waits for new trader actions. It gives the follower a cleaner start and avoids inheriting an old entry, but it may capture only part of a strategy already in progress. Neither mode guarantees matching performance. The right choice depends on whether current exposure or future decisions are the main reason you selected the trader.
A strategy-level take-profit or stop-loss threshold looks at the copied portfolio rather than one individual position. It can create a clear boundary for the amount you are willing to gain or lose before the strategy stops. That is useful when several copied positions contribute to the same overall result.
A threshold is not a guaranteed execution price. Fast markets, slippage, partial fills, exchange availability and minimum order sizes can change the realized outcome. Treat TP and SL as execution instructions with limitations, not insurance. Keep the allocation small enough that a worse outcome remains acceptable.
MirrorTrade's setup uses trading permission without granting withdrawal permission. Your wallet remains under your control. That distinction reduces one category of risk, but it does not remove market, smart-contract, exchange, execution or operational risk. Review every wallet approval and confirmation screen. Never approve a permission you do not understand.
Historical performance does not guarantee future results. A leader can change style, increase leverage or lose money. A follower can also receive different results because of lag, slippage, fees and account size. MirrorTrade provides evidence and controls, not investment advice or a promise of profit.
Hyperliquid copy trading uses a dedicated wallet or trading permission to reproduce a selected trader's actions in a follower account. Results can differ because of timing, prices, fees, order sizes and capital.
Full-book mode brings the follower toward the trader's current portfolio, which can create exposure immediately at prices different from the leader's own entries. Forward-only mode waits for new trader actions instead, giving a cleaner start but possibly capturing only part of a strategy already in progress.
A strategy-level take-profit or stop-loss threshold looks at the whole copied portfolio rather than one position, creating a boundary for the total amount you are willing to gain or lose. It is an execution instruction, not a guaranteed price, and can be affected by fast markets, slippage or partial fills.

No. Historical performance does not guarantee future results. A leader can change style, increase leverage or lose money, and a follower can see different results because of lag, slippage, fees and account size.
