Can a Hyperliquid agent withdraw funds?
No. A Hyperliquid API wallet, also called an agent wallet, can sign trading actions but cannot withdraw funds. MirrorTrade uses a trade-only agent key. That permission still lets it place trades that can lose money; it does not make an allocation risk-free.
Trading permission is separate from withdrawal permission
An agent key signs orders and supported trading settings on behalf of the account. Withdrawal and fund-transfer actions require the account owner's authorization. MirrorTrade's copy signer also rejects actions outside its trading allowlist.
Approving an agent is different from handing a service your main wallet's private key. Check which wallet is being approved and what permission the signature grants before confirming.
A trading key can still lose money
A key that cannot withdraw can still open leveraged positions, change trading exposure and incur fees. Bad trades, liquidation and execution errors can reduce the account balance. Non-custodial describes control over funds, not protection from trading losses.
Revoking an agent stops that key from signing future actions. It does not close existing positions or cancel every open order. If you enabled agent-renewal delegation, remove that permission too; it can approve a replacement agent. Check the correct copy wallet, positions and orders before treating revocation as a complete exit.
